| Description |
2010 is the 25th anniversary of the Southern Hemisphere's longest running mtn bike event. This is NZ's premier mtn bike race, with almost 2000 people applying every year for the 1000 rider limit. The attraction is an old-school adventure through the savage but scenic Akatarawa Ranges near Wellington. Entrants take on either 50k or 20k with wheel biting bogs, granny ring climbs, big-smile descents, raging river crossings and an awesome post-race party in the park atmosphere. |
